Strength: Polyester fiber is nearly twice as strong as cotton and three times stronger than wool, making polyester fabrics strong and durable.

Heat Resistance: It can be used from -70℃ to 170℃, boasting the best heat resistance and thermal stability among synthetic fibers.

Elasticity: Polyester's elasticity is close to that of wool, and its wrinkle resistance surpasses other fibers, resulting in wrinkle-free fabrics with good shape retention.

Abrasion Resistance: Polyester's abrasion resistance is second only to nylon, ranking second among synthetic fibers.

Water Absorption: Polyester has low moisture regain and good insulation properties. However, due to its low water absorption, it generates significant static electricity from friction, resulting in poor natural dye adsorption. Therefore, polyester is generally dyed using high-temperature, high-pressure dyeing methods.

Dyeability: Polyester lacks hydrophilic groups or dye acceptor sites, making its dyeability relatively poor. It can be dyed with disperse dyes or nonionic dyes, but the dyeing conditions are quite demanding.
